The best way to beat Ankou is by using Summoning, Ranged and Agility. As a magic boss it's strong against melee but weak against ranged attacks, so a recommended approach to this monster is to use a combo of Ranged and Agility, allowing you to get the highest possible DPS. Ankou hits slower than your Summoning familiar respawns, thus making you to never take hit while using Summoning.
